Thursday 28th of March marked the passing of yet another fantastic Jobs Fair in the Waterfront Museum in Swansea, organised in part by Julie James AM, the Labour AM for Swansea West.
Nearly 50 employers were at the Jobs Fair with a huge footfall of hundreds of people filling the Waterfront Museum.
This is the 3rd fair Julie has hosted in partnership with Swansea Job Centre and it is a fantastic opportunity to look for a position.
Julie James AM said ‘I always enjoy the Jobs Fair; the atmosphere is really vibrant with so many companies offering unique opportunities. We make sure that companies and organisations can only get a stall if they have an active placement at either a job, apprenticeship or training on offer.
That means that when people tour the stalls, they know that they are talking to employers with active places to fill in their organisation right there and then.
This year was a fantastic success with many new employers who haven’t attended in the past, and a huge footfall of people searching for a new role.’
The Jobs Fair is run bi-annually in partnership with the DWP Job Centre Office Swansea and we were delighted that UWTSD and Power & Water sponsored this event.
This Jobs Fair had nearly 50 companies coming along all of whom had positions to offer including:
Army Navy & RAF Careers, Adecco UK, Avon UK, Bluestone, Caer Las Cymru, CK’s Supermarket, Coastal Housing Group, Dawsons Property, DVSA, Family Housing Wales, First Cymru Buses Ltd.
