Every child deserves a great Christmas but the number of families in poverty has increased a great deal under the Conservative UK Government.
At Christmas everyone should do their best to help those in need and so again this year I have offered my office as a drop off point for the Evening Post’s Winter Campaign.
The campaign aims to help families have at least some sort of Christmas in their time of hardship. Donations of everything from food, money, clothes, vouchers and toys are needed.
The items most sought after are
· A variety of tinned and packaged non perishable food
· Toiletries and sanitary products
· Sweet Christmas treats like mince pies and chocolate yule logs
· Children’s sweets, crisps and chocolates
Donations can be brought to 1st Floor, 11 Wind Street, Swansea, SA1 1DP, from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm .
You can also donate at the Evening Post’s offices, Swansea Civic Centre, local Labour politicians offices including Carolyn Harris’ office, Tonia Antoniazzi’s office, Mike Hedges office, Stephen Kinnock’s office, Nia Griffith & Lee Waters’ office, and finally Plaid Cymru AMs Dai Lloyd & Bethan Jenkins’ office and the Carmarthen Foodbank.
Contact the office on 01792 460836 or email [email protected] for further information.
